Crypto "Godfather" Michael Terpin is shorting Bitcoin $BTC at $82,000 — targeting a re-entry in the $50,000-$60,000 range before what he still believes is an eventual move to $1 million by 2033.

Terpin puts 2-to-1 odds on another leg lower, with Coin Days Destroyed models projecting a possible bottom near $42,000 and historical capitulation timelines pointing toward an October low.

The Senate Banking Committee votes Thursday at 10:30 AM ET on a 309-page stablecoin framework that bans passive yield on dollar tokens but carves out rewards tied to actual crypto activity, and Michael Saylor is already calling it a green light for Strategy's 11.5% STRC yield ecosystem.
