Kevin O'Leary Says Bitcoin And Tokenization Will Remain 'Fringe' Until This Crypto Bill Passes

Kevin O'Leary says Bitcoin and tokenization are still "fringe" to the big institutional players — and the only thing that changes that is the CLARITY Act becoming law.

"When that occurs, it's gonna change everything," Mr. Wonderful said at Consensus Miami, adding that with midterms approaching in November, "the chance to pass this bill is now."

The bill cleared the Senate Banking Committee with bipartisan support after a compromise on stablecoin yields, Coinbase and most of the crypto industry now back it, and it heads to the Senate floor where negotiators will merge it with the Senate Agriculture Committee's version.

But banking groups are still fighting the yield language and seven Democratic crossover votes remain the critical threshold…

Hyperliquid surged 15% in 24 hours while Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP traded flat — and the structural case for more upside is building fast.

The first two Hyperliquid spot ETFs outpaced Bitcoin on inflows three of the first six trading days and beat Ethereum on five of six, buying 2.5 times the HYPE that the Assistance Fund burned during the same period and creating a supply squeeze before legacy sellers can meet new demand.
