😢'MSTR' Is The Worst Ponzi Ever'?
But XRP may be in a much better position.

Happy Thursday!
Strategy may just be ‘the worst Ponzi ever’, according to a prominent crypto analyst. Saylor fired back, albeit indirectly. Here’s the full breakdown of the fight.
XRP is well-positioned to challenge PayPal, as far as Evernorth’s CEO is concerned. What makes XRP so special — and should PYPL investors be concerned?
Plus, most investors are playing one side of this market and missing the other entirely. Tim Melvin and Ryan Faloona are bringing both — six momentum picks posting 50%+ quarterly earnings growth and six deep value plays trading at 73 cents on the dollar with a 5.2% yield. STRC dropped below $89.50 Wednesday, and buyers who paid $100 par at launch are down 11%.
Crypto analyst DonAlt called Strategy's preferred stock "the worst Ponzi" he has ever seen.
The death loop he posted on X: Saylor buys Bitcoin, issues STRC, buys more Bitcoin, cost basis rises.
Market drops, STRC depegs, Saylor sells Bitcoin below average to defend it, Bitcoin falls further, forcing more sales.
Market recovers, he issues more STRC at higher prices, repeating the cycle with a higher cost basis each time.
Peter Schiff added the yield math: new STRC buyers now get 12.92%—if Saylor raises the coupon to 13% to attract demand, he must sell more MSTR at a deeper discount to fund it; if he doesn't, STRC keeps falling.

The ‘worst crypto winter ever’ is not yet over, according to one prominent industry expert. How long is it going to last?

Evernorth CEO Ashish Birla is building a digital asset treasury around XRP and he's not subtle about why.
"XRP is in prime position to be a winner given its technology and all the support and years of working with financial institutions," Birla said on the National Cryptocurrency Association podcast June 17.
His broader thesis: blockchain is already solving real payment problems today, with stablecoins replacing intermediaries like PayPal for faster, cheaper global transfers—especially outside the U.S. where banking access is limited.
Evernorth isn't positioning as a passive XRP holder—Birla said the company plans to use its balance sheet to provide liquidity, support lending markets, and build an on-chain economy around the network.
