FINTECH FOCUS

Strategy is sitting on a $5 billion unrealized loss — and buying more anyway.

The company added to its position last week through $227.3 million in STRC preferred stock sales, bringing total holdings to 766,970 BTC at an average cost of $75,644 against Bitcoin's current price near $69,120.

Strategy and spot ETFs are the only two institutional channels absorbing supply at scale, with Strategy scooping roughly 44,000 BTC over the past 30 days alongside ETFs' 50,000 BTC.

That's 3.8% of Bitcoin's entire circulating supply sitting in one corporate treasury.
